Elizabethtown Community & Technical College’s (ECTC) Distance Learning program provides online classes as options to the traditional on-campus classes. These courses are equal to on-campus classes in credit hours, transferability to other institutions, and fulfilling many program degree requirements.

Students depending on Military Tuition Assistance should follow the procedures and policies as set forth by the Fort Knox Office for enrollment.

Current students following the advanced registration process (beginning in March for Summer and Fall classes, and October for Spring classes) may view the course list and use the “Class Number” to help with enrollment through Self-Service in your Student Peoplesoft account.

Follow the academic calendar of the KCTCS College delivering the class for important dates including refunds and withdrawals.

Accessing Online Classes
To access your online classes log on to Blackboard and log on using your PeopleSoft/Student Email username and password. The Blackboard Helpdesk can be found after logging on. Tip: Write all helpdesk information down and put it in a safe place in case your computer crashes, the network goes down or you lack Internet access for any reason.

What is ITV?
Another part of ECTC’s Distance Learning is ITV (Interactive Television). If you are in an on-campus class or at one of our instructional sites, your instructor may use ITV as a way of connecting two location-distant parts of the classroom. Contact the Distance Learning Coordinator with questions.
