Water, water, everywhere! As a plumber you have a vast range of places and locations you can work, such as designing new systems in construction projects and large institutional facilities and doing residential repairs.
In your classes you will focus on projects such as the maintenance of common fixtures and the complete installation of a plumbing system using tools and materials that will give you practical experience in the plumbing field. You will learn about all types of pipes and fittings, plumbing fixtures, soldering as applied to plumbing, repair and service, septic tanks and disposal systems, water systems, hoisting and scaffolding, drawing as applied to plumbing, tools and equipment and plumbing laws, rules and codes.
