Quality Management Systems

If you like to analyze and improve systems, a degree, diploma or certificate in Quality Management Systems may be just what you are looking for. In this program you will learn how to analyze and implement systems for continuous improvement of functions and processes for the manufacturing, government and service sectors. You will learn how to solve problems, prepare inspection plans and instructions and select sampling plan applications. You will learn the tools and techniques for controlling processes, improving process reliability, improving efficiencies and eliminating defects.

What are my career choices?

Upon completion of the program, you will be qualified for employment in entry-level managerial or supervisory positions. The course work you do will reflect the knowledge found in professional quality certifications such as those offered by the American Society for Quality.

What classes do I have to take?

You must have had MA 109 to take the mandatory QMS 240-242 series of quality management classes. You will also have to take general education courses.

What are the admission requirements?

No, there are no special admission requirements for this program. Please consult ECTC's college admission requirements for information for how enroll in the college and apply for this program.

Where do I start?

Apply for admission to ECTC to receive information from the Admissions Office about submitting your placement test scores (ACT or COMPASS exams) and to schedule a meeting with an advisor to register for your classes.
