Admissions Guidelines

Ready, set, go!

If you have graduated from high school, earned a GED, or are eligible to take the GED, you can apply to Elizabethtown Community and Technical College. All applicants are required to submit an application for admission.  Here's how to apply.

When to apply for admission

You must submit your application before you take your first class. There is no application fee or application deadline; however, applying early allows us more time to serve you.

What additional information will I need to submit?

Send official copies of your high school/GED transcript and official transcript of previous college work to:

KCTCS/Elizabethtown Community and Technical College
Admissions Office
RPC 1st Floor Room 101
600 College Street Road
Elizabethtown, KY 42701

As soon as your application and transcripts are entered, you will be invited to take the COMPASS placement test, if necessary, meet with an advisor, schedule classes and attend orientation. It is that easy!

Please note: If you want to enter a technical program or selective admissions program, you may have a few more special requirements. For more information, contact the Admissions Office.
