About our Transfer Center

We are here to help make your transition successful! Whether you are transferring into a KCTCS college or just building upon the education you receive from us, we can help. The transfer process can be complicated regardless of the college or university you choose. You should work with a counselor early on in this process so that we can make sure that your plan is appropriate for your goals. One of the first things you will need to do is to complete the Application for Admission and your placement tests. Then you can schedule an appointment with one of our counselors.

Top Five Transfer Tips

• Visit the Transfer Center as soon as you know you want to transfer
• Be sure to keep your grades high to be eligible for transfer scholarships
• Figure out the institution and major you want as soon as possible to ensure the most efficient transfer.
• Contact appropriate people at your transfer institution to stay current of changes
• Get involved with your education and your colleges

Transfer Agreements

As you can see from the listings below, we work with many colleges and universities to make sure that you receive credit for the courses you take at ECTC, but you should always check with the Transfer Center to make sure that the courses you are taking will transfer for credit to the college of your choice.
