McKendree University is a private college, the oldest in Illinois and the oldest in the nation with continuous ties to the United Methodist Church. It has four campuses including two in Kentucky in Radcliff and Shepherdsville. The Radcliff campus offers eight bachelor’s and four master’s degree programs. One of McKendree’s hallmarks is it offers classes in an accelerated one-month format, and students can begin taking classes at the beginning of any month. Also, it has staff specifically designated to support veteran and active-duty military students. ECTC students can seamlessly transfer to McKendree by following specific checklists.
How will my classes transfer?
If you complete an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science degree at ECTC, your classes will transfer as a block, and you’ll be ready for upper-level courses. But you do need to follow the transfer checklists on this page pretty closely to make sure you’re taking the prerequisite classes for your major so you won’t have to take more prereq classes once you transfer.
Are there specific transfer pathways?
Yes! McKendree University has agreements in place for ECTC students who want to complete bachelor’s degrees they begin here. Look at the link for the major you’re interested in pursuing.
