BRIAN KERR

President, Kerr Workplace Solutions

As an entrepreneur and active member of the business community, Brian Kerr believes Elizabethtown Community and Technical College has a greater impact on the region than ever before.

“Businesses look to ECTC for training and workforce development, and ECTC really listens to the
community, understands the community’s needs, and puts things in place to keep our talent local,” Kerr said.

That’s why he chose to serve on the ECTC Foundation. His work on the foundation to help more of the region’s residents attend college will only create new opportunities for our community and economy, he said.

Serving the community has long been an important part of Kerr’s life. His civic contributions include serving the boards of the Hardin County Chamber of Commerce, where he is chairman, Central Kentucky Community Foundation, Knox Regional Development Alliance, United Way of Central Kentucky, Junior Achievement and others.

Kerr established his own business in 2006 with the purchase of Bean Publishing and T&W Office
Products in Radcliff. Kerr Workplace Solutions has grown significantly, acquiring three additional dealers in Campbellsville, Hopkinsville and Louisville.

He and his wife, Tabitha, live in Elizabethtown and have four children.
