Daniel London is an experienced leader who has served our community, the Commonwealth, and the United States in a wide range of roles and positions. He's also an ECTC alum.
London attended ECTC from 1995 – 2000 before acquiring his Bachelor of Science degree from Campbellsville University, followed by a Master's Degree in Public Administration from WKU. London brings his experience as a first-generation college graduate to his role on the Elizabethtown Community and Technical College Foundation Board.
"ECTC was instrumental in my receiving a college education, the first in my family. Making sure that opportunity remains a robust option for others with a similar situation and that the foundation of our region's economic development is important to me," London said.
"ECTC was pivotal in helping me enter my post-secondary education. It allowed me to hone my study habits and prepare for my journey through my Bachelor's and Master's programs," Sarver said. "Carla Hornback taught my public speaking class at ECC, which changed my education direction and, ultimately, my career. Her influence helped guide me on a path where I became confident and successful."
London has left a notable mark of efficiency on the communities and organizations he serves by improving communication, streamlining services, and developing long-term and effective strategic plans. London worked for U.S. Representative Ron Lewis for almost eleven years, the last four of which he served as the Representative's Chief of Staff until Mr. Lewis retired in 2008. London then used his legislative and communication experience at the U.S. Army Recruiting Command at Fort Knox, including a 28-month stint in Afghanistan as a civilian leader. He was named Deputy Judge Executive for Hardin County from 2017 – 2022 before being named Executive Director of LTADD in September 2022.
London is married to Deena, and they have three adult daughters and two grandchildren.
