Schedule for Winter Shutdown; Spring Registration
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College and all of its campuses will be open regular office hours until December 20, then closed from December 21, 2019 through January 5, 2020. All offices will reopen on January 6. Anyone who has questions during that time about enrolling, financial aid or other issues can call the Student Service Center anytime at 855-746-3282. Classes start January 13, 2020. Open registration for current and new students will be held on January 7, 8, and 9 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Students are welcome to walk in any time that is convenient for them.
New students should get their applications in as soon as possible, and complete their admission files, including financial aid, which is available to those who qualify. To apply for financial aid, go to www.fafsa.gov. Applications can be submitted online and more information can be found at www.elizabethtown.kctcs.edu/admissions.
ECTC offers full semester 16-week classes, 12-week classes that start February 10, and bi-term 8-week classes that start March 16, in addition to online and hybrid classes. These scheduling options are designed to provide the flexibility that students need to accommodate their work and family schedules. Students can choose from more than 30 career programs or complete two years that will transfer into bachelor’s degrees at four-year colleges and universities.
For the 12-week and 8-week classes, Express Enrollment for new students will be held every Monday from 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. or by appointment by calling 270-769-2371.
Free tuition Work Ready Scholarships are available to those who qualify for degrees, certificates and diplomas in healthcare, advanced manufacturing, transportation, business/IT, and construction. A new CDL Certification program is being offered starting in the Spring semester.
Students who are interested in enrolling in classes at the Leitchfield or Springfield Campuses should call those campuses for an appointment: Leitchfield Campus: 270-259-1540; Springfield Campus: 859-336-1361. At Fort Knox, active duty military may register on a walk-in basis. Non-military students should call 270-706-8858 for an appointment.
