Published on Aug 5, 2021

Masks will be required indoors at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College starting Friday, Aug. 6, regardless of vaccination status.

The mask requirement, which applies to all Kentucky Community and Technical College System (KCTCS) colleges, is the only new restriction related to COVID-19. All in-person classes, which begin Aug. 16, are continuing as planned.

“I appreciate the ECTC community’s understanding and cooperation as we continue to fight the spread of COVID-19 and ensure all our students are able to keep moving forward and accomplish their education and career goals,” said ECTC President Dr. Juston Pate. “The next week is an exciting time in the academic year as we prepare for classes to begin, and we want students and visitors to know our campus is safe.”

ECTC continues to follow Healthy at ECTC protocols to provide the healthiest learning environment possible. Masks will be supplied as needed.
