Introducing Fall 2016 AmbassadorsEach year, a small group of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College students are chosen to represent the college as ECTC Barons Ambassadors. They go through an application/interview process and are selected each May for the next school year on the basis of GPA, leadership skills, and commitment to the mission of ECTC. Barons Ambassadors play an important role in supporting the college, and they gain valuable experience for personal and professional growth.
Throughout the year, Barons Ambassadors support the school with volunteer work both on and off campus, represent the college at campus and off-campus functions, receive leadership training, and are awarded a scholarship. In November, they hosted the entire 7th grade class from TK Stone Middle School in Elizabethtown for a College is Possible day at ECTC, and the Barons Ambassadors also conduct weekly campus tours throughout the school year. These student leaders will continue to serve ECTC through the Spring 2017 semester.
