ECTC students are earning practical, career-focused credentials that prepare them to step into the workforce. However, many students with recent two-year degrees face a common challenge: they are qualified and motivated but still need real-world experience to compete for strong jobs in their field. HB 36 benefits respiratory care professionals

House Bill 36 was successfully passed by the Kentucky General Assembly and signed into law by Governor Beshear last month, enabling Kentucky to join the Respiratory Care Interstate Compact as a charter state. Rep. Steve Bratcher sponsored the bill on behalf of respiratory therapists and military families across the state.
