Food

Feeding America, Kentucky’s Heartland (FAKH) is coordinating emergency food distributions in local communities and through partner food pantries. Schedules of distributions can be found on their FAKH Facebook page.

Many Local School Districts are providing free meals for their students. Contact your local Board of Education or child’s Family Resource Center to learn more about their services.

Blue Ball Baptist (1501 Blueball Church Road, Elizabethtown, (270-763-2831), Immanuel Baptist (800 Rhodes Drive, Elizabethtown, 270-765-6516), and Rineyville Baptist (5629 Rineyville Road, Rineyville, 270-737-7361) sponsor Food Pantries. Please call these churches for additional information and schedule to get food.

Cecilia Baptist has a Hope House every Thursday that offers food from noon to 2:00 pm for those living in the Cecilia and Howevalley community.  Please review the Cecilia Baptist Facebook Page for additional information. (270-862-4228)

Employment

Kentucky Career Center is assisting those who are unemployed because of COVID-19. Learn about and apply for Kentucky unemployment benefits.

Errands

Elizabethtown COVID-19 Match pairs healthy young adults who have low-risk factors for getting COVID-19 with those who are unable to leave their homes. Learn more and sign up to volunteer to help.

The Valley Creek Baptist Church's Mission Team has formed a Special Response Team to help meet the needs of community members who may need groceries or other necessities during this time. If you or someone you know is unable to get out and need help getting necessities like groceries, call the church office at 270-737-9282 during regular office hours. After office hours, call Mike Hulsey at 270-737-6535. When you call, we will need the name, address, phone number, and need of those who need assistance. 

Give Help

Hardin Memorial Health (HMH) seeks volunteers with medical training who can help if the need arises. Sign up through the HMH or call 270-706-6736.

ECTC is always appreciative of donations to meet the greatest needs of our college and students. Because of reduced staffing on campus, gifts can be made through our Online Giving webpage.

Team Kentucky Fund provides assistance to Kentuckians who have been severely financially impacted by this crisis. Donations can be made through the Team Kentucky Fund website.
