Brooklyn Leep believes in the mission of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.
“In my career of economic development, I’ve seen the long-term positive impact the college has had on students and on the region’s workforce,” she said. “It’s an important asset to the community that provides educational and career opportunities to individuals who may not have them otherwise.”
A graduate of Morehead State University, Leep began her career as the associate executive director for the Morehead-Rowan County Economic Development Council. She has also served as senior project manager with the Kentucky Cabinet of Economic Development, spending nearly three years working to attract new jobs and domestic and foreign direct investment into Kentucky. She now serves as executive director of the Marion County Industrial Foundation.
Leep’s passion for rural economic development has been showcased throughout her career, and is what drives her involvement with the ECTC Foundation.
“The ECTC Foundation is important and necessary,” she said. “We are all working together to establish sustainable resources for ECTC that, in turn, impact students and the community as a whole.”
Leep lives in Lebanon with her husband Johnny.
