Do you have an interest in electronics or robotics? Do you like exploring how things work? If so, Automation, Industrial, and Robotics Technology could be the program for you. As an interdisciplinary technician, you’ll be in high demand for innovative advanced manufacturing careers. Our graduates are trained to operate, maintain, and repair electrical, mechanical and automation systems. AIRT students select one of five pathways, including the mechatronics pathway, which leads to an opportunity to seamlessly transfer to the University of Louisville J.B. Speed School of Engineering for a bachelor's degree in applied engineering.

Length of Program
You can earn an Associate in Applied Science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
