Admission Criteria for ECTC Radiography Program

Note: The admissions committee will complete this score sheet. This is only for reference.

Each applicant will be considered and assigned a point value as indicated below. Applicants will be ranked based on their total points. Candidates with the most points will be admitted first. You must have a minimum KCTCS cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher to be considered for the radiography program. You must have a minimum of a “C” for all prerequisite classes. All classes must be finished prior to the application deadline, March 15, to receive points for the class. In the event of a tie in total points, the applicant’s HESI A2 exam score will be used as the first tiebreaker to determine final ranking. If a second tiebreaker is necessary, the applicant’s overall GPA will be used.

V. Applicants who have completed an Allied Health degree or maintain an active status on the nurse aide registry or a current limited x-ray technologist.

To be eligible for points, applicants must submit official documentation verifying one of the following:

Completion of an accredited two-year Allied Health program (AAS) and current professional licensure; or
Active status on the state nurse aide registry; or
Completion of a limited X-ray technologist program.
