We're growing!
ECTC is transforming critical classrooms and labs to better serve students and develop a world-class workforce for our region. We hope you’ll follow our progress and consider how you can support ECTC.

We’re modernizing technical training spaces to meet the needs of today’s students and expand critical programs with this $60.5 million project. Phase I is underway and includes a renovation of the 32,000-square-foot 100 section of the building and a 12,000-square-foot expansion. Phase II will include renovations to the 200 and 300 sections of OTB, a total of 78,000 square feet.
OTB will house the following academic programs:

This $16 million project will revitalize the classrooms and labs in the Science Building. An expansion at the west and south sides of the building will allow for larger biology and chemistry labs.

Construction is already underway for the campus’ second building, which is expected to open for Fall 2026 classes. The $9 million project includes advanced manufacturing and healthcare classrooms and labs, allowing the college to offer technical programming that leads to high-demand careers in the region. Connected by a covered walkway to the existing Walter T. Kelley Building, the 16,735-square-foot expansion also includes a student center and additional classrooms that will position the campus to better serve all students.

Our community’s support is needed to ensure ECTC has the resources to deliver the innovative, adaptable training that will match these modern labs and state-of-the art interactive learning environments. You can create a lasting legacy by naming a space in our newly renovated facilities. Recognition may honor your family, company, or someone who inspired you — and gifts can be made over time.
Unrestricted named gifts can accelerate ECTC’s technical and STEM expansion, as well as give the college the flexibility to upgrade our technology, enhance the quality of our instruction, and can continue our commitment to innovation. Eligible endowed gifts may be matched dollar-for-dollar by the KCTCS Endowment Matching Program, amplifying the impact of your generosity. Gifts may be structured through cash, stock, Donor Advised Funds, IRA QCDs and multi-year pledges.
