The Teamwork and Team Building workshop will encourage participants to explore the different aspects of a team, as well as ways that they can become a top-notch team performer. Your participants will be given the details and concepts of what makes up a team, and what factors into being a successful team and team member.

$75 - Communication Strategies Workshop

For the better part of every day, we are communicating to and with others.

Whether it's the speech you deliver in the boardroom, the level of attention you give your spouse when they are talking to you, or the look you give the cat, it all means something.

The Communication Strategies workshop will help participants understand the different methods of communication and how to make the most of each of them. These strategies will provide a great benefit for any organization and its employees. They will trickle down throughout the organization and positively impact everyone involved.

Motorcycle Safety Foundation Basic Rider Course (BRC 1) - $150

We are proud to offer motorcycle safety classes at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College.

No experience necessary.

Learn to ride a motorcycle at ECTC.  Motorcycles are provided.  Necessary safety equipment is available for students who do not own their own helmet or riding gloves.

Students must wear long pants without holes or frays, a long-sleeve shirt, and over-the-ankle shoes. Personal gloves must be full-finger gloves.  Personal helmets must be 3/4 or full-face helmets.  All helmets must be DOT approved.  Eye protection is also required if personal helmets do not have visors.

Classes are delivered over the course of three days: Friday from 6:30 pm - 10:00pm ET; Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm ET; and Sunday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm ET.

Successful completion of the course will waive the Kentucky Motorcycle License Skill Test.

$225 - Basic Motorcycle Maintenance

This class will introduce you to basic motorcycle maintenance.  Our rider classes will help students start riding - this class will teach students how to perform basic routine maintenance to keep riding year after year.  Class is hands on!  Motocycles, all tools, and materials provided.  No experience necessary. 

Class will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings.  Class size is limited, so call today!

$375 - Women in Welding 

This class provides an introduction to welding, cutting processes, and related equipment. 

It will help you gain valuable skills to assist you on the farm, at work, or in your job search.  These skills are used in manufacturing, the automotive industry, construction, custom fabrication, and more.  Most of class will be spent on Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), also referred to as "MIG" welding; however, we will also cover Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAQ), often referred to as "stick" welding. 

At the end of the class, you will have the opportunity to take the AWS certification test to become weld certified.
