 Older adults are prime targets for financial exploitation both by persons that they know and trust and by strangers.  Elders who lose their life savings usually have little or no opportunity to regain what they have lost.  This course is designed by the FDIC and Bureau of Consumer Financial Protectin to recognize and reduce the risk of elder financial exploitation.  Upon completion of this course you or your loved one will be better able to: Guard against identity theft, plan for possible loss of your ability to manage your finances, prepare financially for disasters and to learn how to protect yourself against different types of scams.
