Discussion
Fall Graduation
- Bryan Smith and Angie Brown met with Cabinet members to discuss the plans for fall graduation. An on-campus and an off-campus plan was presented. Our fall graduation ceremony will be a more formal ceremony compared to the walk-thru graduation ceremony held in the spring. Students will have the option of which ceremony they would like to attend.
Grant Management Update
- Dr. Stith shared with Cabinet members the status of all active grant-sponsored projects.
ECTC Cares Proposal
- Dr. Stith presented to Cabinet members the ECTC Cares proposal. The purpose of the Cares committee would be to engage faculty and staff in giving back to ECTC and our community while keeping the ECTC Foundation informed of college needs.
- Committee member expectations:
- Plan activities throughout the year with support from Advancement.
- Share college and student needs that could be met through community support.
- Provide feedback on the college/foundation’s philanthropic and community engagement activities.
- Serve as an ambassador for the ECTC Foundation
- Share content on social media
- Attend events when possible
- Champion committee projects among respective teams
Meeting adjourned at 10:18 a.m.
Respectfully submitted, Emily Allen (Executive Administrative Assistant)
