Discussion

Aspen

  • Cabinet discussed the narrative portion of the Aspen application that is due December 9.
  • Each Cabinet member was assigned specific sections of the narrative and are to have their drafts completed and submitted on the Share Point site by this Friday, November 21.

Academic Technical Building

  • The ATB building is not slated for a renovation in the near future; however, changes will be occurring within the building within the next couple of years.
  • We do plan to have an architectural design drafted for the ATB building, so that we have a plan developed to provide guidance and direction for how the space will function/look three years from now and beyond.

Aspen Celebration

  • Cabinet brainstormed ways to celebrate our invitation to apply for the Aspen Prize with the entire college.

Prison Waivers

  • Cabinet discussed whether or not ECTC should waive a financial hold for students within the prison system who have no way of paying these fees.

Workforce Classes on Campus during Institutional Close

  • Various manufacturers in the area have inquired about having classes on campus during the two weeks ECTC is closed during the end of December through the beginning of January.
  • If classes are held, some employees will have the option to work if needed, but will not be required.

Meeting Adjourned at 10:20 A.m.

Respectfully submitted, Emily Allen (Executive Administrative Assistant II)
