Student Success Circle Grant Application Review
- Chrissie Angell met with Cabinet to review the Student Success Circle grant applications.
- Cabinet reviewed each application and made recommendations for funding.
Student Success Plan - Action Items
- Cabinet discussed the action items their respective units are creating to support to the implementation of the Student Success Plan. Cabinet will have a draft of these action items for review during the Cabinet retreat March 25-27.
House Reform Bill
- If approved, a recent House bill would restructure the Board of Directors and the Board of Regents composition. The Board of Directors at each college will have statutory responsibilities removed and will run through the KCTCS President and Board of Regents. An advisory Council may be appointed by the system president. The Board of Regents would remain a government appointed process for fourteen members, some for regional representation and some for industry sector representation. The elected positions would consist of one faculty, one staff, and one student regent, each with a full vote.
