Discussion
Connect Days Update
- Becca Owsley met with Cabinet to give an update on Connect Days. The goal is to reach out to high school senior students who may not be able to otherwise come to campus to get their first-time freshman classes scheduled.
Dual Credit & Recruitment Space
- Cabinet discussed options for swing and long-term space for dual credit and recruitment.
- In the near future, Dr. Stith will manage the non-academic side of dual credit.
- The academic side of dual credit will be managed by several faculty members.
The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership, Chapter 2
- Cabinet discussed chapter 2 of The 21 Irrefutable Laws of Leadership.
Glendale Training Center – Space Allocation
- A meeting will be scheduled prior to April 1 to develop a plan for the Glendale Training Center.
Student Data
- Cabinet discussed the pros and cons between using Equifax and/or income data we can obtain from KCTCS on students who have graduated.
- Cabinet has decided to move forward with using Equifax for one year to obtain postgraduate data on our students. This will help Cabinet develop a 3.0 plan for our college.
Grant Funded Instructor Pay Scales
- Cabinet discussed potential rates to pay instructors working on the AMAP grant.
