Jerisa Lamons, Director of Career Pathways, helps a student.ECTC is committed to helping students build futures, find pathways to success and reach their goals, and ECTC Career Services is instrumental in helping them translate what they’ve learned in the classroom into confident, career-ready action.

“We work closely with second-year and near-completion students to strengthen essential skills, including communication, professionalism, workplace expectations, and strategic job searching,” said Director of Career Pathways Jerisia Lamons.

Lamons uses career-readiness planning, labor-market insights, resume development, and internship guidance to help students gain clarity about wages, advancement opportunities, and how to present their value to employers.

“We are especially eager to collaborate with alumni and industry partners who want to support emerging talent, provide feedback on workforce needs, and/or create structured entry-level pathways for two-year graduates,” she said.

One of the key priorities of Career Services is expanding meaningful internship and work-based learning opportunities that connect students directly to regional employers.

“We work to ensure students graduate not only credentialed, but confident and prepared to contribute on day one,” Lamons said.
