ECTC Dual Credit General Education Scholarship
The ECTC Dual Credit General Education Scholarship is intended to support juniors and seniors with tuition for one eligible ECTC general education course in the 2026-2027 academic year. To be eligible for consideration, students should have previously completed 1 general education course, or be in the process of successfully completing an additional general education course, separate from the potentially applicable general education course this scholarship may apply to, within the current Academic Year (Fall, Spring, Summer) and maintain a 2.5 GPA in the prior academic year. Eligible courses are defined by KHEAA and exclude BIO 135, BIO 137, BIO 139, ECO 201, and ECO 202.
Note that dual credit scholarships are designated to complement existing financial assistance and are applied after other sources of financial aid, such as KHEAA state-funded scholarships or other available resources. Scholarship funds will be applied to students’ accounts after successful completion of the course, defined as a C grade or higher. Students who withdraw, fail, or received a grade D or lower in their course will be responsible for the cost of the class. The scholarship is non-refundable and only covers tuition, not books or fees.
Completion of an application is not a guarantee of assistance. Scholarship decisions are made based on demonstrated financial need, available funding, and program priorities. Information provided on this application will be used solely for scholarship consideration and will be shared only with college personnel who have a legitimate educational interest in reviewing applications. Applications must be submitted by October 1. Students will be notified by email if your application is approved, contingent upon successful completion of the course.
We know each student’s situation is unique. These questions help us provide scholarship support to those who need it most. Your answers are private and will not affect your eligibility for dual credit courses.
