Text for Vets Book Lending Program
The Texts for Vets Book Lending Program is designed to support ECTC military, veteran, and eligible military-dependent students (current ID card holders) enrolled at ECTC. This program provides access to textbooks on a first-come, first-served basis.
Guidelines for Participation:
- Request Early: Submit your book requests as soon as you enroll in classes.
- Pick Up: Collect your textbooks no later than the first week of class. Books will be available starting the week before classes begin.
- Drop a Class? Please return the book immediately to allow other students the opportunity to borrow it.
- Return Books: All borrowed books must be returned by the Friday of Finals Week. Failure to return books on time will result in a hold on your account.
Important Notes:
- Availability: We do not guarantee the availability of textbooks. Textbooks integrated into your e-book or Blackboard account cannot be provided.
- Responsibility: Students are liable for unreturned, damaged, lost, or stolen books. In such cases, students must replace the book or pay a replacement fee. Failure to do so will result in a hold on the student record and ineligibility for future participation in the Texts for Vets program.
- Access Codes and Additional Materials: Students are responsible for purchasing any required access codes, e-books, syllabi, or lab workbooks.
Applications for the Texts for Vets program are available in our office.
