To apply for the IECE program (students must declare an Associate in Arts major until accepted), contact coordinator Martha Page, mpage0003@kctcs.edu. It is suggested students interested in the program take two designated first semester courses their first semester as well as ENG 101. Online classes should be taken through ECTC and not other KCTCS campuses to ensure students gain the knowledge base for ECTC program classes.

Requirements for admission are:

  • 2.5 overall GPA
  • 2.0 in IEC classes
  • C or above in ENG 101
  • Having all technical requirements up to date (state criminal background check, etc.)
  • Submission of personal autobiography

Progression in the IECE program is contingent upon achievement of a grade of "C" or better each IEC course and maintenance of a 2.5 cumulative grade point average or better (on a 4.0 scale.)
