Discussion
Kick-Off/Convocation
- Cabinet discussed holding Kick-Off and Convocation in one day with Dr. Pate’s welcome, a safety discussion, and a presentation from EduNav in the morning followed by Convocation professional development sessions in the afternoon.
- College Council and division chairs will consider this proposal and make a final decision.
PeopleSoft Shutdown
- PeopleSoft will shut down sometime Thursday, February 22, and will be down all day on Friday, February 23.
Opioid Support for Graduates
- Cabinet discussed resources available to graduating students who struggle with addiction.
Trident Tech Visit
- Dr. Pate discussed getting a group together this spring to travel to Trident Tech to learn their best practices.
60th Anniversary Celebration
- A 60th Anniversary logo will be created for employees to use throughout 2024.
- Plans to celebrate the College’s 60th anniversary are underway and attendees invited will include employees, students, and community members.
- A committee will be formed to help plan the 60 Anniversary celebration events.
