Discussion
Emergency Reporting System
- Sarah Berkshire met with Cabinet to discuss a new emergency reporting system currently being used by Meade Co. Schools.
- Employees would wear a button that would immediately alert police when pushed three times.
- When pressed eight times, the device would alert the school and authorities of an active shooter situation.
- Cabinet members will further explore this new emergency reporting system to evaluate how it could benefit our campus, students, and employees.
Receptions
- Cabinet discussed the policy and procedure surrounding receptions for employees who have resigned from their position but are not retiring.
- Our finance department will look into this topic and meet with Cabinet in the next couple of weeks to further discuss.
