Discussion
CARES Committee
- Breanna Phillips and Alexis Hutchinson met with Cabinet to discuss a new idea the CARES employee subcommittee has developed to thank employees for their hard work and contributions to the college.
Compression Update & Legal Update
- Ms. Whitney Taylor gave Cabinet members an update on the Pregnancy Act and the requirements for a mother’s room on campus.
- Cabinet members reviewed midpoint saturation data provided by Human Resources and the cost associated with bringing all employees to midpoint.
Media Value Report
- Dr. Megan Stith shared with Cabinet a current media report showing our social media, TV, etc. hits.
Office of Student Engagement and Enrichment
- The office of Cultural Diversity has been renamed the Office of Student Engagement and Enrichment.
Student Center Occupancy Plan
- The Student Government Association is preparing to move into their office within the Student Center in the near future.
- When the construction on OTB 100 begins, Security’s office will temporarily move into the Student Center.
- A small committee will be formed to evaluate the possibility of having a casual food service available in the Student Center for spring 2025.
Wine, Women and Shoes Event
- The Wine, Women and Shoes event is almost sold out and nearing full capacity.
