Discussion
Legislative Ethics Update
- Anytime an event is held on campus and food is provided, we must document how many legislators were in attendance and the cost of food per person. We will receive training on this in the near future.
- There is also a policy to follow when inviting legislators to events and this information will be provided in the upcoming training.
Institutional Effectiveness
- Cabinet discussed a potential name change for the office of Institutional Effectiveness, one that better reflects the purpose and goal of the office.
- SPARC has been proposed…Office of Strategic Planning, Assessment, Research, and Compliance
Lockdown Procedures
- Cabinet reviewed the lockdown procedures provided by Brent Holsclaw.
- Facilities met with the Elizabethtown Police Department and ECTC’s marketing and security units after the August 19, 2024 lockdown to develop a detailed procedure for any future lockdown on campus.
- Cabinet members reviewed the proposed procedures for soft and hard lockdowns.
Career Skills Program
- Cabinet identified a Career Skills Program point of contact to share with Fort Knox.
Mandatory Training & Open Enrollment
- All employees are required to complete Mandatory Training by October 9 and Open Enrollment will begin October 8.
