Discussion
Mental Health Services
- When a student is experiencing a mental health crisis on campus, there is a process that faculty and staff are to follow. If the situation is an emergency, 911 should be called. If the situation is not an immediate emergency, then Dr. Corina Langford should be contacted, who will then meet with the student and determine the next steps. In the event Dr. Langford is unavailable, Dr. Dale Buckles is the next point of contact.
- Mental health services will be an agenda item during the next campus-wide meeting.
Hiring Process
- When candidates for job interviews are from out of state, then all first interviews will be held via TEAMS. If the out of state candidate is selected for a second interview, then ECTC will reimburse partial or full travel expenses.
WKU Lunch
- WKU will have their Big Red Lunch again on campus during the spring 2025 semester.
College Street Road Building
- Cabinet discussed a potential program that could be located in the building that was purchased across the street, the former LTADD building.
Student Success Plan
- Cabinet reviewed the draft Student Success Plan that was updated during the Cabinet retreat on Friday, November 22 and made additional revisions.
Meeting adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
Respectfully submitted, Emily Allen (Executive Administrative Assistant II)
