DC to Degree Scholarship
Finish what you started!
Congratulations on the college credit you earned in high school! Let’s apply those credits and get you closer to a degree at ECTC. You could earn up to a $1,000 scholarship for the 2024-25 academic year. That’s right, the lowest tuition in Kentucky could be even more affordable with the Dual Credit (DC) to Degree Scholarship.
Eligibility requirements
- 2024 high school graduate
- Completed at least one dual credit class at ECTC or other KCTCS college as a high school student
- 3.0 high school and dual credit GPA
- Submitted your free ECTC admissions application
- Submitted your FAFSA
How it works
Scholarships will be awarded on a first-come, first-served basis while funds are available, and priority will be given to students who earned dual credit with ECTC.
After financial aid and other tuition assistance such as the Federal Pell Grant and the Kentucky Educational Excellence Scholarship (KEES) are applied, the DC to Degree Scholarship will cover up to $1,000 in remaining tuition. Family income is not considered.
The scholarship is especially helpful to students who are entering programs that are not eligible for the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship. This includes new ECTC students completing the first two years of a bachelor’s degree before transferring to a four-year college or university.
