What Else Do I Need to Know?

Additional Information

In order to stay in good standing and not be dropped from the IECE program, you must earn a grade of C or better in each IECE course and maintain a 2.0 cumulative grade point average (4.0 scale).

Field Licensure Requirements

Students will need to transfer to a four-year school if they wish to obtain their certification as a Preschool/Kindergarten teacher and Developmental Interventionist.  This will ultimately require testing based upon the requirements of the Educational Professional Standards Board of Kentucky.

Length of Program

You can earn an associate in applied science degree in two years if you maintain full-time status.
