
HESI A2 Admissions Test
The HESI A2 Admission Test is a multi-question, multiple-choice, online, proctored test that evaluates the basic reading, math, writing, biology, anatomy & physiology, and critical thinking of individuals seeking entry into the ADN or the PN Program. The exam time is 3 hours. The cost for each exam is $65.00. If you miss your testing date, you will not receive a refund and will need to pay a new testing fee to register for a new date.

ADN HESIA2 Admission Test
The HESIA2 ADN entrance test is required and is taken in the ECTC Assessment Center (Room 129, RPC Building—across from the WKU office and down from the ECTC Bookstore) by appointment only. You must email the program's administrative assistant, Paula Spencer, to schedule your date/time for attempt 1 and/or attempt 2. Walk-ins are not allowed. We will only accept a HESI A2 Entrance Exam score of 75 or greater.

PN HESIA2 Admission Test
The HESI A2 entrance exam will be required if the ACT/SAT score is greater than 4 years or less than a 20 on the ACT or less than 1030 on the SAT, and a student must earn 70% or greater on the exam to be considered. This can only be taken 2 times per application. The test is taken at the ECTC Leitchfield Campus Assessment Center by appointment only. We will only accept a HESI A2 Entrance Exam score of 70 or greater.
