Published on Apr 10, 2025
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College’s Office of Enrichment and Engagement invites the community to attend the CommUNITY Fair, a day filled with international food, music, performers and more. The event, held 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 17 in the Student Center on the college’s Elizabethtown campus, is free and open to the public.
“The CommUNITY Fair brings together students, faculty, staff and the community to celebrate a day of connection and unique experiences,” said ECTC Director of Enrichment and Engagement Jerisia Lamons. “We want everyone to join in on the excitement.”
Performances include The Song Sparrows, a bluegrass band; Yapa!, a mix of Latin rhythms and energy; and African-Nashville, an African drumming ensemble. Food trucks will be on site with German, Hawaiian and soul food offerings. International treats prepared by ECTC’s international cuisine class also will be available. Activities include yard games, tie-dye, a tree giveaway and more.
“This event is surely to be lively and fun, and we look forward to our campus family and the community enjoying the festivities,” Lamons said.
