Graduates celebrate Spring 2025 commencement
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College celebrated its Spring 2025 graduation on May 13 with approximately 275 graduates and hundreds of guests attending.
“We are so proud of each of our Spring 2025 graduates for the investments they’ve made in their futures and the goals they have accomplished,” said ECTC President Dr. Juston Pate. “Whether they are entering the workforce and starting a high-demand career or continuing their education in pursuit of a bachelor’s degree, we look forward to seeing the Class of 2025 do great things in our region.”
The ceremony, held at Severns Valley Baptist Church in Elizabethtown, honored students who completed their academic programs in the Spring 2025 semester. Attendance grew this semester and for the first time ECTC held two back-to-back ceremonies to accommodate larger crowds. ECTC expects to award approximately 625 degrees and diplomas. Additionally, ECTC students completed about 1,200 certificates.
Credentials awarded include associate in applied science degrees in high-demand career fields like healthcare, information technology, advanced manufacturing and trades. Graduates also included those who earned an Associate in Arts or Associate in Science and are prepared to transfer to four-year colleges and universities to complete bachelor’s degrees.
“On behalf of everyone at ECTC, congratulations to our graduates,” Pate said. “You have contributed greatly to the college, and you will always be a part of the ECTC family.”
