ECTC Foundation welcomes new board members, executive director

The Elizabethtown Community and Technical College Foundation has announced the appointment of three new board members: Cameron Brown, Hunter Hammer and Brandon Phillips. Chrissie Angell also has been named the foundation’s new executive director.

“The ECTC Foundation is entering an exciting time of growth, and we are fortunate to welcome such talented, community-minded leaders to our board,” said ECTC Foundation Board Chair Jennifer Swope. “Cameron, Hunter and Brandon each bring unique strengths and a strong commitment to our region. We are also thrilled to have Chrissie step into the role of executive director. Her dedication to students and the community will help the foundation make a lasting impact.”

“The foundation’s expanded leadership reflects ECTC’s commitment to strengthening regional partnerships, increasing philanthropic support, and advancing student success throughout its 10-county service area,” Swope said.

New Board Members

Cameron Brown
A principal and wealth advisor at Cerity Partners, Brown brings expertise in financial planning, investment strategy and long-term stewardship. His experience guiding individuals and families through complex financial decisions strengthens the foundation’s fiscal leadership and strategic planning.

Hunter Hammer
Co-owner of Signarama Elizabethtown, Hammer is an entrepreneur and community leader whose work is rooted in creativity, service and relationship building. Her involvement in local organizations such as Rotary, Kiwanis and the ECTC Student Success Circle shows her commitment to strengthening Hardin County and supporting student opportunity.

Brandon Phillips
Owner of Phillips Grove, a local event venue, Phillips brings a strong background in construction, project management and business development. A graduate of Western Kentucky University, he is committed to advancing workforce readiness and helping students gain the education and skills needed for meaningful careers.

Chrissie Angell
Angell currently serves as ECTC’s director of philanthropy and has previously held roles as scholarship coordinator, interim dual credit coordinator and donor relations manager. She has enhanced student support systems, expanded community partnerships and advanced philanthropy at the college. Her leadership and dedication to students will guide the foundation’s next chapter.

“It is an honor to serve an institution that changes lives every day. ECTC students are building brighter futures for themselves, their families and our region,” Angell said. “I am grateful to work alongside such passionate board members, partners and community leaders, and I look forward to expanding the resources that help our students thrive.”

Dr. Megan Stith remains an integral part of the college as ECTC vice president of advancement and marketing and also serves as KCTCS Foundation executive director and KCTCS chief advancement officer. After taking on the KCTCS roles, she now represents the KCTCS Foundation on the ECTC Foundation Board.

The ECTC Foundation supports student success and regional workforce development through philanthropy, partnerships and community engagement. By securing resources for scholarships, emergency assistance, academic programs and student support services, the foundation helps ensure all students have access to the tools they need to succeed.
