ECTC announces Giving Day 2026
Published on Apr 16, 2026
Elizabethtown Community and Technical College’s 2026 Giving Day will take place on
April 22 during Community College Month. The event will support initiatives including
the Unstoppable Fund, which removes barriers to student success; emergency funds for
students and employees; and the ECTC Foundation’s Greatest Needs Fund, which allows
leadership to respond to emerging needs.
“We’re excited to see so much interest and involvement in this year’s Giving Day,” said ECTC Director of Philanthropy and ECTC Foundation Executive Director Chrissie Angell. “Last year, 159 generous donors gave over $31,000. We hope even more people will join us this year.”
Several funds offer matching gifts, meaning your gift will go even further. These include a $1,500 challenge from Magnolia Bank for 15 donations to the Adult Learners Scholarship Fund and a $500 match gift from the ECTC Cabinet to the Employee Emergency Fund. The ECTC Foundation is also offering a $2,500 challenge to the Unstoppable Fund when 25 donations are received.
“ECTC Giving Day is an opportunity for our community and college members to support students who require additional assistance,” said ECTC Vice President of Advancement and KCTCS Foundation Executive Director Dr. Megan Stith. “Each year, we look forward to seeing what we can achieve together.”
