Published on May 18, 2026
Military Friendly has recognized Elizabethtown Community and Technical College as a 2026–2027 Military Friendly School with Gold level status in acknowledgment of the college’s commitment to serving veterans, active-duty military members and their families.
In addition to the Military Friendly School Gold designation, ECTC received recognition as a Military Friendly Spouse School, highlighting the college’s support for military spouses pursuing higher education, training and career advancement.
The Military Friendly School designation is awarded to colleges and universities using both public data sources and responses to an organizational survey measuring student success and other key factors.
“With affordable tuition, transfer pathways and flexible learning options designed to fit students’ busy schedules, ECTC is a great choice for military-connected students,” said Director of Military and Veteran Services Tabbi Stutzenberger. “From navigating military education benefits to specialized academic advising, ECTC offers a full scope of services to support these students.”
ECTC’s Military and Veteran Services Center also offers a variety of peer activities and programs such as the Text for Vets book lending program, while also connecting families to scholarships and community resources.
“We are honored to be recognized for our commitment to serving those who have served our country,” Stutzenberger said.
