Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) is recognizing eight alumni and two retired employees for their exemplary work in and outside of the community through the annual Profiles of Excellence celebration. Now in its 16th year, the Distinguished Alumni program has recognized academic, professional and humanitarian endeavors of 130 former students. Those recognized this year include Debra Childress, Diane Medley, Jon Kimberlain, Kenny Rambo, Kimberly Scarborough, Leroy Keeling, Makote Abe and Timothy Wells. Names and photos of this year’s honorees will join others in the Hall of Distinguished Alumni, on display in the atrium of the Regional Postsecondary Center on ECTC’s main campus.

Students who have taken dual credit classes in high school have already lowered the cost of a college education. Now a new opportunity at Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) will make earning their degree even more affordable. ECTC is introducing its new DC to Degree Scholarship and will begin accepting applications for Fall 2022 scholarships March 15.
