Parking & Transportation

Students are not required to have parking permits but are restricted from parking in designated areas such as faculty/staff, roadways, fire lanes, etc. Faculty and staff have designated parking spaces and are required to display a valid parking permit which can be obtained by contacting the security office.

Handicap Parking

ECTC provides designated parking spaces for disability parking. These parking spaces are specifically designated for use by those who have permanent or temporary physical impairments that substantially limit mobility. Use of these spaces requires the display of a valid state issued permit or license plate.

Fines

Fines for illegal parking may be issued by the college, Elizabethtown Police Department or the Kentucky State Police. Fines will vary depending on the severity of the violation.

Any vehicle inhibiting traffic flow, hampering fire protection, parked illegally in a reserved or handicapped space, or blocking handicap access is subject to immediate tow and impoundment.
