FSA ID Workshops

What is a Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID?

It is the username and password used to log into and to electronically sign your FAFSA application.

Who will need an FSA ID?

ALL CONTRIBUTORS

A contributor is anyone who is asked to provide information on an applicant's FAFSA, including:

  • Student
  • Student's spouse (if applicable)
  • A Biological or adoptive parent; or
  • The spouse of a remarried parent who is on the FAFSA - the stepparent

Requirements to complete FSA ID

  • Full name
  • Social Security Number
  • Date of Birth
  • Email address

*Please note that if you are new to the FAFSA application process, you will need to complete an FSA ID at least 2-3 weeks in advance to allow for processing.  The 2024-2025 FAFSA application is scheduled to open sometime in December (TBD).

  • November 16th, 10am - 2pm
  • November 30th, 10am - 2pm


*Please note: these workshops are to only complete or update your FSA ID, not complete the FAFSA application. There will be FAFSA events later on, once we know more about when the application will be opening.

If you cannot make it out for our workshop, please feel free to stop by the Financial Aid Office and we will be happy to assist you! We are located in the RPC building, Room 105. Our office is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm. No appointment necessary.
