About the Division of Fine Arts and Humanities
The Division of Fine Arts and Humanities includes a number of different subjects:

- Religious Studies
Courses in these subject areas fulfill general education requirements for the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees. They also help you with freshman and sophomore-level major requirements in Fine Arts and Humanities’ disciplines.
Fine Arts and Humanities provides you with a broad-based general education that prepares you for success when you transfer to a four-year college or to the workforce. These classes help you become better citizens by introducing you to a variety of forms of human expression, history, and culture. Fine Arts and Humanities challenges you to develop critical thinking skills and to analyze and evaluate information. Essentially, when you complete Fine Arts and Humanities’ classes, you know how to learn and how to continue learning.
