AMAP Internship

Immersive Learning Internship Model

ECTC is now accepting applications to interview for part-time intern opportunities for those pursuing an Industrial Maintenance degree Spring 2025 term. The application deadline is April 4, 2025.

This is a partnership of regional manufacturers whose purpose is to implement work and learn training to create a pipeline of highly-skilled workers. The concept offers a college degree program that matches higher education with continuous real-world experience.

Who should apply?

While the program is ideal for recent high school graduates, current manufacturing employees, and military veterans, it is open to anyone who meets the eligibility requirements listed below and wants to pursue high-paying, diverse career options in advanced manufacturing. This opportunity gives you the chance to apply what you learn in class almost immediately on the manufacturing floor.

Industry partners offer students a paid work experience which includes hands-on application of class concepts and the chance to observe the best practices of a world-class manufacturer.

Salary and benefits are determined by the individual manufacturer and shared with the student during the selection process.

Program participants must...

  • Be 18 years old as of the first day of class
  • Be a US citizen
  • Demonstrate academic success as measured through grades and assessments
  • Demonstrate math capabilities as measured through ACT scores or other College Placement assessment
  • Commitment to remaining absolutely drug free

To be considered for the program,

  1. Candidates must complete the ECTC admissions application and submit the required documents for admission to the college.
  2. Candidates must complete the Application and submit the required documents for that application.

Only applicants who meet the eligibility requirements and submit the required applications and documentation will be sent to the manufacturers for review and selection.
