Now Registering for Fall Classes!

Sign up for your Fall 2025 classes by registering for Express Enrollment coming up August 12-15!

At ECTC, academic advising is an essential part of your college experience, helping you set clear academic and career goals.

During your first semester at ECTC, you’ll meet with a career-focused professional advisor who will help you explore your interests, clarify your goals, and develop an academic plan. This personalized plan outlines the courses required to complete your credential or degree and aligns with your long-term career objectives.

After your first semester, you will meet with an assigned faculty advisor from your academic program. Your faculty advisor will continue to guide you through the rest of your time at ECTC, offering support and insight specific to your chosen field of study.

ECTC requires all students to meet with an advisor to create and regularly update their academic plan. Staying engaged helps you avoid unnecessary coursework, stay on schedule, and make the most of your college experience—saving you both time and money.

Choose one of the options below to get started!

The appointment with a professional advisor for your first semester is a critical step in creating the right academic plan. They will share important deadlines, campus resources, and support services that can help you succeed.

Schedule your advising appointment as soon as possible once you have completed your admission application.

Sign up with a main campus advisor. Appointments are in Eastern Time Zone.

Walk-ins are always welcome! Please note there may be a short wait depending on availability. Stop by the Welcome & Admissions Office, Room 101, in the Regional Postsecondary Center on our main campus. The office is open M-F from 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. (EST).
