Metallica’s foundation, All Within My Hands, continues its multimillion-dollar investment in critical workforce programs at community colleges nationwide. Among the schools, Elizabethtown Community and Technical College has been invited to return and will continue to receive Metallica Scholars funding to enhance career and technical education programs.

Dr. Telly Sellars will serve as the next provost of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, ECTC President and CEO Dr. Juston Pate has announced. As provost, Sellars will serve as the college’s chief academic officer, working closely with faculty and college administration to support student success.

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) graduate Elijah Mattingly of Lebanon was recently named Distinguished FAME Graduate by the Lincoln Trail chapter of KY FAME (Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education). Mattingly graduated in May 2023 with an Associate in Applied Science in Industrial Maintenance and is employed at Toyoda Gosei Kentucky (TGKY).

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) will host Express Enrollment from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 1-3 and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Aug. 4 for Fall 2023 classes that begin Aug. 14 and Oct. 16.

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) students received $1,504,959 through the Work Ready Kentucky Scholarship (WRKS) during the Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 semesters. The scholarship was awarded to a total of 536 students in business and IT, construction and trades, transportation and logistics, healthcare and advanced manufacturing programs.

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) Foundation is now accepting sponsors for its 2023 Home for Hope Gala. Proceeds from the event, held Sept. 14 at Phillips Grove in Radcliff, are in support of the college's Family Scholar House partnership.
