As ECTC begins a busy fall semester, FSH is working with students who need assistance to succeed in their classes. Volunteers provide important services for the organization, which frees up the FSH staff to work directly with students on the life issues that can be overwhelming. FSH needs volunteers with a variety of skills and interests who can work either on a regular basis or for special events or projects. Scheduling is very flexible.

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) has rolled out new virtual reality simulators to attract and inspire the region’s future workforce. The virtual reality (VR) program is part of the college’s recruiting efforts to assist students in career exploration and increase awareness of high-wage, high-demand careers that are attainable through ECTC education and training. With the aid of VR headsets, prospective students can step into the shoes of professionals in diverse career fields, gaining experiences and insights that are unparalleled in traditional recruitment approaches.

Among the schools, Elizabethtown Community and Technical College has been invited to return and will continue to receive Metallica Scholars funding to enhance career and technical education programs.

Dr. Telly Sellars will serve as the next provost of Elizabethtown Community and Technical College, ECTC President and CEO Dr. Juston Pate has announced. As provost, Sellars will serve as the college’s chief academic officer, working closely with faculty and college administration to support student success.

Elizabethtown Community and Technical College (ECTC) graduate Elijah Mattingly of Lebanon was recently named Distinguished FAME Graduate by the Lincoln Trail chapter of KY FAME (Federation for Advanced Manufacturing Education). Mattingly graduated in May 2023 with an Associate in Applied Science in Industrial Maintenance and is employed at Toyoda Gosei Kentucky (TGKY).
